Because of the success of our Pastor's Wives' Support Board, we want
to publish a book compiling your advice and support for other pastor's wives.
Some of the recurring themes we have seen on the Board are: dealing with lack
of time with your husband, conflict in the church, amount of time spent in
the ministry, dealing with conflict with your husband, loneliness, friendlessness,
the need to share with someone, dealing with exhaustion, preparing for the
ministry, etc. This book would be compiled by Beth Rakow - a pastor's
wife and the initiator of Pastor's Wives' Support Board.
What we would appreciate from all pastor's wives is input into any or all of these topics - plus any other topics you would like to touch. What have been your biggest struggles? How has the Lord helped and guided you with them? What Scriptures have been especially helpful? Give personal experiences. Beth will keep you anonymous if you would like. If we use your material, you will be given two complimentary copies of the book. Please help other pastor's wives in this way.
